The Students at Branford Academy will be donating their time to offer the brides to be, friends and family members a variety of beauty services ~ nail polish changes, up do’s, hair curling or straightening. Each service will be $1 ~ all the proceeds will be donated to our charity, Wish Upon a Wedding.

What Makes It Special: Each bottle of wine features a specific “first” for the couple (first night, first Valentine’s Day, first anniversary, etc.) with an accompanying poem.
Materials Needed: Basket large enough (and strong enough) for 9 bottles of liquor, ribbon (using the wedding colors, if possible), large labels, plastic wrap, filler, and 9 bottles of liquor (listed below)
The wine basket shown was created for a newly married couple from Bristol, Connecticut. Two of the bridesmaids put this together as an alternative to a set of plates or a new comforter. Although this gift is primarily only used with wine, the two bridesmaids incorporated other types of liquor as they saw fit. (And as a side note, the couple dubbed this gift their absolute favorite from the shower.)
